How can employees get paid for the reuse of digital lectures? While educators have spent days and nights producing digital lectures during the past few months, the issue of reusing teaching materials has become increasingly relevant. Professor Olav Torvund, an expert on copyright, explains that copyright originates with the person who creates the material, including lectures. The University of Oslo (UiO) is calling for a national policy. UiO Director Arne Benjaminsen is positive to remuneration, adding that a written agreement on digital reuse must be reached with each individual educator in advance.
