Guro Elisabeth Lind has been nominated for a new term as president of the Norwegian Association of Researchers. Elections take place on 21 and 22 October.
‘The biggest issue is working for improved wage development for postgrads. The gap between public and private sectors has widened dramatically and applies not only to researchers, but to everyone with higher education, ’ Lind says.
‘The use of temporary positions must be reduced, and more stable jobs and career tracks and more time for research and development must be ensured for educators,’ she adds.
